Paint Warranty James Dean Creations will fix any painted items for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase that flakes, peels, cracks, bubbles, curls or shrinks do to product failure or workmanship. Impact chips, chemical exposure (or damage resulting from) and or abuse of any kind or negligence during the installation process, transport and or use of motorcycle / parts on or off the road, are not covered. Base coats and clear coats is not impervious to gasoline, oil or any other solvents. Do not overfill fuel tanks. If gasoline or oil is spilled on paint surface, wipe off immediately with soap and water. Paint damage or failure around fuel filler holes or bungs is not covered. Gasoline or oil spillage is not covered under the warranty. James Dean Creations will not be held responsible for labor charges incurred to install or remove sheet metal or any other parts. It is very important during the installation process that rubber or nylon washers be used between any painted parts and there mounting location. Torque mounting bolts with blue Loctite* to factory specifications. Do not over torque the mounting bolts. Stripe Warranty James Dean Creations will replace any stripe for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase do to product failure. Impact chips, chemical exposure and or abuse of any kind or negligence during the installation process, transport and or use of vehicle on or off the road, are not covered. Stripes and/or decals installed on fresh paint that cause out-gassing bubbles are NOT covered. Stripes and decals on horizontal surfaces, such as hoods or roofs, are NOT covered, for they are subject to too many adversaries (direct uv light, acid rain and engine heat). Simple rule: If it will hurt your paint or your skin, it will hurt your stripe. Vinyl graphics not impervious to gasoline, oil or any other solvents. They are not made of Superman's cape. If gasoline, oil or other solvent is spilled on stripe surface or edge, wipe off immediately with soap and water. Gasoline, oil or solvent spillage is not covered under the warranty. James Dean Creations will not be held responsible for labor charges incurred to remove and install damaged or warranted stripes. It is very important to follow Decal installation guidelines Do's and Don'ts or warranty will be voided. Do not use rubbing compounds or abrasives of any nature on or across stripes. Stripes maybe waxed just like paint. Apply and remove wax lengthwise (with) to stripe, not across, to avoid embedding compound under stripe edge. Returns All returns must be authorized ahead of time and follow the instructions below or no credit will be issued. Returns must be authorized and returned within 30 days of purchase or no credit will be issued. Parts: Any items purchased that are undamaged, unused, un-installed or un-altered in any way, may be returned for a JDC web credit** minus a 43% restocking and shipping charge. Toyota Stripes & Logos: Wrong color, model and/or side stripe orders may only be exchanged for correct item and will be subject to a 33% restocking charge. You must order and pay for corrected item, return un-used, un-damaged and un-altered stripe/logo with return shipping label provided with new order, then a refund or credit (minus 33%) will be issued back to you. Exchanges/Returns must be returned and received within 30 days of re-order date or I cannot issue a credit. All stripes are manufactured/printed at time of order and thus considered special orders. All Other Stripes & Logos (Nissan, Ford, Mazda, Subaru, H-D, etc): Wrong color, model and/or side stripe orders may only be exchanged for correct item and will be subject to a 43% restocking charge. You must order and pay for corrected item, return un-used, un-damaged and un-altered stripe/logo with return shipping label provided with new order, then a refund or credit (minus 43%) will be issued back to you. Exchanges/Returns must be returned and received within 30 days of re-order date or I cannot issue a credit. All stripes are manufactured/printed at time of order and thus considered special orders. Apparel: There is no return policy for apparel. Please be sure to order correct item and size. **Credits will only be issued after part(s) / stripe(s) have been returned and inspected for damaged and or use.
